Introducing our law firm

A brand says everything. It is emblazoned on our saddles, the doors of our trucks, and every document we file with the Court. Here at Perkins & Associates, LLC our brand is the Bar SP. We ride for this brand and stand by our work.

Introducing Our
Law Firm

In 2025, our founder Scott "Scottie" Perkins saw the need for a different sort of law firm. Alaska is a wild and diverse place; it needs attorneys that understand the changing legal landscape facing Alaskan landlords. With over 1,600 evictions under his belt, he struck out on his own, like the pioneers of old that helped build and settle the 49th state. Practicing law is not about making money, it's about shaping the community and doing the right thing.

Our Areas of Practice

01.

Evictions

We specialize in providing comprehensive legal assistance in forcible entry and detainer actions, or evictions. From serving the first notice to quit, to collecting on judgments, we are with you every step of the way. With over 1,600 evictions in the last seven years, you've come to the right place.

02.

Subsidized Housing

With the passage of the CARES Act this area of law has only become harder for landlords to navigate. Let us help demystify the process of evicting from covered properties.

03.

Lease Review

We review lease agreements and community rules to ensure that the rights and obligations of our clients are clearly defined and protected at the local, state, and federal level.

04.

Estate Planning

In addition to our Landlord-Tenant services we also provide estate planning services. We can provide wills, trusts, and even Miller Trusts.

Our Team

"Learn, rather, how to do good, setting your hearts on justice, righting the wrong, protecting the orphan, giving the widow redress"

Isaiah 1:17
